Beefy stew with cornbread

Pretty basic. And I was trying to get rid of some stuff so it had a lot in it…

2 lbs of stew beef
Some frozen corn
A few cut up little red potatoes
A can of pinto beans
Chopped up green peppers
Sliced carrots
2 packets of what I believe are called “Lipton Recipe Secrets” and the one I used was beefy mushroom or something like that

Then, the usual – enough water to cover it all, in a covered pot for 2 or 3 hours.

The cornbread is fantastic – Krusteaz Honey Cornbread. And I used melted butter instead of oil.

I poured the stew over the cornbread and we all loved it.
