Below, is my “LifeStream” – primarily consisting of micro-blogging updates from my phone. Think of it as sort of like my ongoing autobiography, told in bite-sized chunks of words and sometimes pictures and videos.
But, there is also stuff that I just come across online – such as news/blog items, links, music, photos or whatever – that I wanted to share publically for some reason or another.
This is all continually updated in real time throughout the day, pretty much every day (just keep in mind, it is all in reverse chronological order and you can’t always trust the timestamps). If you want an idea of who I am, what I’m interested in, and what I do with my time and energy, read on.
If you came looking for actual blog posts only, the left sidebar has a number of browsing and search options. Anything else you may be looking for is probably found on the right somewhere.
If you have no idea who I am, here is the short version.

I saw someone refer to great wine as "bottled poetry". That's what I want from it. That's my reason for trying the whole wine thing.

Lately, I've been wanting a new light above the bar. And I have very specific requirements. I get these weird cravings sometimes.

Terra confessed she doesn't much care for Norah Jones. It's so over between us. I must draw the line somewhere.

These are very dry beans compared to the ones I've used for years, and I usually blame that when the shots turn out foamy.
Espresso Classico - Paradise Coffee Roasters--http://www.paradiseroasters.com/products/Espresso-Classico.html
Foamy does not mean crema. This foam dissipated, leaving a crema with a tattered appearance. Roasted 23rd so should be rested enough. Hm.
Got our Espresso Classico from Paradise Roasters (5lbs, $50). Gotta practice with it but first try is way too foamy and way too mild.

I haven't gotten a good pic of it yet, but Moogle actually has a moogle charm thingy hanging from his collar.
We suddenly realized we shouldn't have named our new kitty Moogle - we should have named him Kupo! (it's sort of the sound moogles make.)
Varying aspect ratio... Very "Kubrickian". (cf Lolita, Dr. Strangelove) (erm, in the case it's a proper transfer. Yay for LaserDisc!)
Watching The Dark Knight on blu-ray, the changing aspect ratio (because it was also shot for Imax, iirc) is unique - still good composition.

Now, I just have to solve the steam wand leak issue and Lady Gaggia will be back to 100%. But that's gonna be at least $45 plus shipping :(
And the group head gasket for my Gaggia got here yesterday. (17 days after i ordered it, grrr!) But, the leak is finally gone :) :) :)
Yay! I found an inexpensive scale that weighs in tenth gram increments. Very useful for accurate espresso dosing and I've never owned one.

WHAT?!!!!!! PSJailbreak??? http://www.google.com/m?q=psjailbreak
Poor Moogle kitty - he gets tripped over a lot at night because he lays down in walking paths and he's so black, you never see him.
Ubuntu - the latest. I can sort of see how all this should work but the learning is time-consuming. A commodity I don't have much of.
