well, i joined flickr and uploaded a few pics and submitted some to the DCF group…
looking through their collection, i found some rather cool ones…
flickr offers a nice slideshow format to look through them…

this one is WAY at the top of my list, the colors are absolutely breathtaking… nm is gorgeous…

i can’t get enough balloons, but, this one is particularly unique…
and speaking of striking colors… this one is by the same guy as the last… be sure to look at that tram pic there, too… i still have never done the tram :(

i just couldn’t stand it anymore, it was too catchy, i’ve thought about it long enough, and domain names are cheap…
it will point here and all email sent to it will forward to my regular account…

it will be a couple days until that link works, btw - these things take time…

and people will no doubt rejoice that i finally have a website address that EVERYONE can actually spell :P

so, all this week i have been doing this awful reset project at the coors/i-40 location and have been increasingly annoyed with how hard it is to get around in that area because of the road work being done… it’s not worth it to go for lunch anywhere outside the home depot/wal-mart complex because of the traffic, so, i have been sticking close and happened to have my camera with me yesterday… a couple mornings have had some great balloon close encounters, so, yesterday i brought the cam, but, of course, no balloons…
but, when i went to lunch (venti coffee frap, caramel affagato style), there was a bit of excitement and i had my cam…

see, this water truck made a bad move…

they brought in a bulldozer to keep it from slipping further and a crane so they could pull it…

i took a few pics of the whole ordeal (see this month’s pics #s 542 through 576), but here is a 20 second video showing the final solution (quicktime, right click > save as, i can’t seem to set up streaming correctly)…

just give it back… no questions asked, simple as that…

the security screen had my website address, so, there is a chance you are reading this… the screen also has my cell number, so, call me and arrange a meeting, a drop place, tell me what you did with it, whatever…
i have years of info, email, notes, and more on that device and i need it back… it is worth nothing to you, it is a very old device, no one uses them anymore, you cannot pawn it, no one will buy it, if you want a pda there are many out there that will do what you want, you don’t want my outdated machine that they stopped making in the mid-90s…

it is valueless to you and priceless to me…

you left the contents of my wallet; photographs, notes, id, maybe because you understand and sympathize with the value of them, and i appreciate that… but, what is on that handheld computer is worth far more than the contents you left behind…

so, just call me and let’s work this out, seriously, no questions asked, i just need it back…

ok, so, i wanted to sort through them more thoroughly and prepare them in nice albums and such, but, here it is nearly 1am and even at this hour i have at least five people calling me, wanting to see them, so, i am just uploading the batch as is…
click on photos over there on the right and look for the folder… you probably won’t be able to view the vids unless you right click and save them to your computer, btw…
