@don_rivers yeah, PSP/PS3 integration is amazing. Remote play works via internet, too, so I can access my PS3 anywhere there’s wi-fi :)

Latest on Wed, 21:21: Um will it been a hard day i have been at work all day and this nation is going down we are losing our stocks and if we play a country album backwords that wont help us at all to hell with it lets stick together pepole and love one another now
: after several weeks of changing things, i think i finally have the site the way i want it... incl. the daily lifestream post format...
: oh great!!! the bug has returned that causes my site to randomly revert to the default theme and then it is totally ugly (white page, one sidebar, big blue space at the top) and missing content... i thought i had fixed that forever :( dear reader, if you visit and see it that way, please text/email/whatever me so's i can go fix it...

reading my Twitter timeline will keep you updated on my day-to-day life and i have recently begun posting pics and videos from my phone to my flickr photostream and my YouTube channel, respectively...
i have reluctantly given up on Zannel for fear of them folding like so many other social media services recently, but i still have countless pics and vids there... and i think my Dashwire and TwitPic days are over...
i love photography and i also use flickr to show off my photographs and snapshots, though i don't update it often enough, but here's my personal faves i've taken and here's my faves i WISH i took...
Wakoopa knows all about what desktop software i use...
Del.icio.us is where i keep all my favorite bookmarks...
and i am always adding interesting news/blog items i've read to my Google Reader shared items...
you can learn a lot about my taste in movies at my Netflix profile and yes, i own about 350 LaserDiscs and they are all listed on my LDDb collection page...
i don't listen to much music but i go through phases when i look to Last.fm and/or Pandora to try to satisfy my needs...
btw, people complain because i never use my MySpace and Facebook and i usually don't even remember i have an account on StumbleUpon and i haven't gone to my LiveJournal in years...
i also own insidiousplots.com, jesusfreakgeek.com, abqdiscgolf.com, nmdiscgolf.com, and baristopher.com...
and, for years, everything else kind of ends up in the old stuff directory...

Resident Evil marathon on http://thespeedgamers.com ? Cool idea, maybe i’ll watch some of it.

Ok, I played with the new twitter lists feature some. I’ve started separating all the alamo people from tularosa, ruidoso, etc.
|
|
|
(i endeavor to follow every twitterer in this area and am always watching for new local twitterers, using tweetgrid and other methods.)

Tonight’s slumber party night will be either a marathon of Tales From The Darkside or Jeepers Creepers – a flick @nurseterra suggested. hmm
|

Btw, Jeepers Creepers is via PlayStation Video Service direct to our PS3 – we’ve had it how long and this is the first time we’ve used it?

Today I have decided my mom must have a PS3 for xmas. It will be her most valuable PSP accessory and do away with her dozen or more cards.

So, xmas list so far: PS3 Slim for mom, PS2 for @nurseterra, espresso machine for me, Leapster for Wesley. Xmas fund = 18 cents. Hmmm…

Making demarara cane sugar syrup for the coffee bar – when my to-do list overwhelms me, I catch my breath by doing things not on my list.

Grrr, small towns. We bumped into a combined 9 people we knew at walmart. Takes forever to shop and we were in a hurry! (curmudgeon? :P )

Back home (ABQ), I was probably on first name basis with a couple hundred people and almost never saw people I knew when I went shopping!

Really not happy with the moka pot experiments. No matter what variables I change, I taste burnt rubber but @nurseterra says she doesn’t.
|
|
|
My only theory is cheap moka pot = cheap rubber gasket and that’s what i’m tasting. In ruidoso, there’s a shop that sells gaskets.

Day 2 of experiments with cheap moka pot. This time, water from steam wand and my usual espresso grind. Still don’t much care for it.

(Yesterday was boiling water with fine but coarser than my usual espresso grind. Not yummy. Hoping this is breaking in/seasoning phase.)

|
Forgot to say, moka pot experiment day 1 was 25g of coffee, today was about 22g. Don’t want to cram it in there.
