Ross in LC has made some very disappointing changes – they apparently have decided to drastically reduce their glassware and coffee stuff.

Ross is the only IRL place we know to get cheap but unique press pots, sometimes with matching cups. But there were none there yesterday :(

(see, we have this fantasy of collecting a variety of small, unique press pots for single-serves, rather than using our 32oz Bodum.)

Latest on Wed, 21:21: Um will it been a hard day i have been at work all day and this nation is going down we are losing our stocks and if we play a country album backwords that wont help us at all to hell with it lets stick together pepole and love one another now
: after several weeks of changing things, i think i finally have the site the way i want it... incl. the daily lifestream post format...
: oh great!!! the bug has returned that causes my site to randomly revert to the default theme and then it is totally ugly (white page, one sidebar, big blue space at the top) and missing content... i thought i had fixed that forever :( dear reader, if you visit and see it that way, please text/email/whatever me so's i can go fix it...

reading my Twitter timeline will keep you updated on my day-to-day life and i have recently begun posting pics and videos from my phone to my flickr photostream and my YouTube channel, respectively...
i have reluctantly given up on Zannel for fear of them folding like so many other social media services recently, but i still have countless pics and vids there... and i think my Dashwire and TwitPic days are over...
i love photography and i also use flickr to show off my photographs and snapshots, though i don't update it often enough, but here's my personal faves i've taken and here's my faves i WISH i took...
Wakoopa knows all about what desktop software i use...
Del.icio.us is where i keep all my favorite bookmarks...
and i am always adding interesting news/blog items i've read to my Google Reader shared items...
you can learn a lot about my taste in movies at my Netflix profile and yes, i own about 350 LaserDiscs and they are all listed on my LDDb collection page...
i don't listen to much music but i go through phases when i look to Last.fm and/or Pandora to try to satisfy my needs...
btw, people complain because i never use my MySpace and Facebook and i usually don't even remember i have an account on StumbleUpon and i haven't gone to my LiveJournal in years...
i also own insidiousplots.com, jesusfreakgeek.com, abqdiscgolf.com, nmdiscgolf.com, and baristopher.com...
and, for years, everything else kind of ends up in the old stuff directory...

Just gave the "Stockfleth’s move" a first try and pulled an amazing shot! Smooth, thick, sweet. May have been luck. (19g 1.5oz ~27secs)

@don_rivers I have used a few over the years but once I tried Feedly, I haven’t looked back. It’s web-based (?!).
|

@don_rivers however, if you want full media, too, look no further than Ziepod. And the paid version is well worth it.

I have just seen my first Lady Gaga video. Um. Amazing cinematography and production design, that much is certain. No further comment.

@dailydemitasse I agree with the sugar, but I see a proper ratio of milk kinda’ the same as water with scotch – to reveal certain subtleties

@dailydemitasse BUT most every nuance of the coffee is quenched by any higher than say 1:3 — and I prefer no higher than 1:2 or less.

@dailydemitasse oops! Obviously, those ratios were meant for espresso. (Though I do add a bit of cream (not milk) to press coffee.)

I guess i’d better find net radio equivalents – could listen to my public radio station in Dallas – KERA. They dont play classical though.

And net radio has no one talking :( Stuck in a house all day with no one to talk to, day after day – even a DJ is a welcome voice!
