	Gonna start a stew this morn so I don’t have to cook dinner tonight – Final Fantasy XIII comes out today, that is our plan for this eve :)
	Cooking a big pot of chicken green chile stew, listening to the new full-length episode (YAY!!) of The Hollywood Saloon.
	mmkay, that experimental little bit of cumin I added to the chicken green chile stew may have been a mistake.
	We have Final Fantasy XIII in our hands! :) um, time to find out if it’s any good or not :P
	FF13 uses save points??? HELLO?! This is the 21st century, people! WHY do so many games STILL not let you save anywhere/time??
	And no return of the victory fanfare after battles :( But, btw, we are cautiously optimistic about the battle system itself so far.

	I think i’ll have no choice but to build a pressure gauge, this Gaggia is clearly set way over 9 bars, shots are foamy no matter what I do.
	Btw, I know how to neither build a gauge nor adjust an opv but I hear neither is excessively complicated.
	These beans do clearly need a bit more rest but there is a foaminess no matter what beans i’ve used that dissolves, leaving actual crema.

just a quick thought here, but it was too long for a tweet.

anyway, I want to be able to select tweets for a group (like the lists feature for people) and then twitter assigns a link to a page with all/only those tweets. for instance, when we went to balloon fiesta – a timeline of tweets wouldn’t suffice, I want to be able have not only all tweets from that day on a single page but to selectively add certain tweets that lead up to it, were after it or whatever.
ALSO you’d have to be able to add tweets by other users. so, you could bookmark a conversation or just certain replies/mentions/RTs.

sure, this is all what hashtags are for, but a grouping like I want would be exclusive and also doesn’t take up any of those precious 140 characters :)

OR maybe this should be a lifestream software request :) a group of ALL lifestream events would be awesome. (though, mine is broke at the moment so all you see on my website right now are twitter posts. that will hopefully be fixed soon.)

	Spent the morn so far trying to improve my homepage’s site search – i’ve always hated it but I think it’s a little better now.
	Finding that it takes an avg 7mins (incl. cleanup) to make a proper drink at my coffee bar. Hm. Hey, each one is lovingly hand-crafted! :)
	We’ve decided that tonight’s slumber party will be a PS3 Netflix suggestions serendipity test. So let it be Twittered, so let it be done ;)
	Ok, I have so far been a rotten "man-mom" today and am now flying around the house, trying to get stuff done in the little time I have left.
	(Uh, "man-mom"? Maybe that’s the word i’ve been looking for this whole time. Not married so "househusband" is a bit misleading.)
	(though, some would argue "man" isn’t entirely accurate either, and could list reasons to prove it. I’m looking at you, @Thorobredz.)
	@don_rivers xbox 360 has netflix built in and the wii netflix disc is due very soon. But, no hi-def streaming with wii, obviously.
	@don_rivers I assume you know more than me about networking but I can only get hd stream (720p) if the ps3 is wired, wireless won’t do it.
	Eep! Hastings has a "Now hiring baristas" sign up! Grrrrr. (btw, they need a barista to run those super-autos they use?? (iirc))

	So, though it was not financially wise, it benefits all of us, so, we went ahead and replaced the broken PS3 with a new PS3 slim.
	The broke PS3 doesn’t play games, but mom gets it in her room so she can finally organize all those memory cards for her PSP’s.
	Sweet! Found VeggieTales on Netflix, streaming it via the PS3 for Wesley :) Had that PS3 Netflix disc for 3 months, finally get to use it!
	Sigh. There are times I have to grab a bible and look up Romans 8:28. You know, just to make sure it’s still there.
	Replaying Mirror’s Edge on PS3. Stunning in concept, design, and execution. Always reminds me of those great chase scenes in The Matrix.

	I decided to finally respond to some private msgs on facebook and it just says something went wrong. Hrmph. Well, I tried. Back to work.
	Downloaded 78 episodes of the Sesame Street Podcast and copied them on to Welsey’s PSP – he is one thrilled kid :)
	For some reason the sesame street podcast hasn’t worked on psp since august, so I guess i’ll start getting them for him manually.
	(Btw, the sesame street podcast has been running for over three years – his psp automagically downloads each new episode for over a year.)
	Someday I will do a full how-to on "Sony PSP for Toddlers". He has his own photos, music, podcasts, movies and has for almost 2 years.
	And since it’s portable, he isn’t a "couch tater tot", glued to a tv. He carries it around with all his other toys. In a protective case :)
	.@don_rivers I actually have the japanese LaserDisc of Pulp Fiction (eng w/ jp subs). It’s my only jp LD (except my Criterion of Akira.)
	@don_rivers are you saying you have that on ld? If you are an ld collector, too, i’ve never caught on.
	@don_rivers … aw, rats. Thought i’d finally found someone to do some trading with :P
	This demarrara sugar we get for the bar is larger crystals than typical sugar and i’ve taken to sprinkling a little bit on top of my lattes.
	And I don’t mean much and not to flavor the drink, just a little atop the foam for an ocassional tiny bit of sweet crunchy. Very nice.

	The kitty went out last night and still isn’t back. This is bad. Terra will be inconsolable.
	Hm, second day in a row someone has knocked on the door and asked to buy Dad’s truck.
	Drowning our sorrows in a pressed pot of Tanzanian Peaberry from Milagro in Las Cruces. Bad for espresso, surely will be great pressed.

	Ross in LC has made some very disappointing changes – they apparently have decided to drastically reduce their glassware and coffee stuff.
	Ross is the only IRL place we know to get cheap but unique press pots, sometimes with matching cups. But there were none there yesterday :(
	(see, we have this fantasy of collecting a variety of small, unique press pots for single-serves, rather than using our 32oz Bodum.)

	@don_rivers I have used a few over the years but once I tried Feedly, I haven’t looked back. It’s web-based (?!).
	@don_rivers however, if you want full media, too, look no further than Ziepod. And the paid version is well worth it.
	I have just seen my first Lady Gaga video. Um. Amazing cinematography and production design, that much is certain. No further comment.

	@dailydemitasse BUT most every nuance of the coffee is quenched by any higher than say 1:3 — and I prefer no higher than 1:2 or less.

	This is 2nd time in a few months someone says their security software says my site has malware – mine never has – how would I check this?

	I do this: Raw, sliced bell peppers in collander – pour pot of freshly boiled pasta over it to drain pasta and heat peppers. Equal parts.
	Also yummy: Brush a foccaccia with olive oil+garlic+whatever. Bake 10mins @400, slice into sticks.

	I’ve learned the Gaggia enough that I’m back to where I left off when my Bodum died – trying to perfect a 5min piccolo latte, incl clean up.
	My piccolo latte is 2oz espresso, 2oz steamed milk. I want it to be a slurp-it-down-and-go caffeine fix for those who shun straight espresso
	But I kinda’ do it macchiato style for expediency – steam milk in cup, pull shot into cup. No milk pitcher or shot glass to clean.
