You can subscribe to my blog posts (which includes a daily digest of my LifeStream) via RSS 2.0, RSS .92, Atom 0.3, or Google Reader.

I have had a blog in some form since 2003, so just for fun, you could jump to a random post.

Search my posts all the way back to April 2003

The search is a little quirky, so being creative helps.
For example, a search for slumber party night will find ANY ONE of the words, while "slumber party night" (in quotes) will only find the exact phrase and I don't always use the complete phrase and sometimes I abbreviate it to SPN.
Therefore, a search for slumber spn with no quotes should find every post that mentions our little ritual.

how do i make time with god my highest priority?

it is the age-old question, but i feel like i got a fresh answer today when someone asked me this, so i thought i’d blog it…

she said she had all these things throughout the day – work, housework, shopping, eating, time with her son, whatever – all on this tight schedule and then tries to squeeze . . . → Read More: how do i make time with god my highest priority?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calvinism
it also has its own links to their stuff about arminianism…

jesusfreakgeek.com

yup, i finally bought it…
jesusfreakgeek.com

i just couldn’t stand it anymore, it was too catchy, i’ve thought about it long enough, and domain names are cheap…
it will point here and all email sent to it will forward to my regular account…

it will be a couple days until that link works, btw – these things take time…

and people . . . → Read More: jesusfreakgeek.com

for luke and asbel

search results for “God helps those who help themselves” from Bartleby’s quotations…
seems you can find similar statements made even before Franklin said it… none come from the Bible…

and i went to RefDesk.com to find a quotes search…

and i promise to put that list up soon that i spoke . . . → Read More: for luke and asbel

optical illusion

Wow
(and be sure to click on the ‘proof’ link…)

btw, this is a great example of the frailties of perception…
magicians and con men (from salesmen to psychics) exploit weaknesses in perception and cognition, therefore “mind hacking” is a good description of what they do…
or perhaps “reality hacking”, since our faith in our own perception and cognition is . . . → Read More: optical illusion

My LJ Feeds Link
