Lifestream for August 11th, 2010 – Christopher's Lives

So, I put together a computer and it’s part of the bar :) I’m determined to make it my first Linux machine. My only worries are drivers.

I thought WholeLatteLove could do no wrong but I ordered a part on the 3rd, just called and they are just now sending it today! Grrrrr!
(and it’s only half my order – they say the other part is out of stock but their site didn’t say that when I paid for it!)
I now have a barely controllable urge to smash crockery or something.

Posted @ABQChristopher "My only worries are drivers" oh don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. :).
Posted @ABQChristopher that joke would work better if my account was still called drivers.
	Posted :D :D :D :D RT @don_rivers: @ABQChristopher "My only worries are drivers" oh don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. :).

I got Ubuntu Linux installed and klutzed my way through the network settings so I’m online. That’s gotta’ be worth some experience points :P
Same. RT @don_rivers: My internet just went out. Baja broadband #alamogordo
	Posted @ABQChristopher it’s back up.
.@don_rivers Our internet is still out. Cold sweats starting.
Posted @ABQChristopher did you power cycle your cablemodem (and then router if any)?.

@don_rivers hmm, your reply didn’t hit my phone. But, yeah, I keep power cycling them and still no joy.
Posted @ABQChristopher unplug your router and then plug it in again. Will reconnect u I have baja and I had to do this today when it was raining..
