Lifestream for February 2nd, 2011

Got hat and gloves, and Wesley is now playing in the snow for the first time in his life :) Taking plenty of pics and vids, be patient.

Wesley had a great time until his froze got toesen and tears started. I’ll post some pics and vids tomorrow – it’s late, time to wind down.

(obviously, the stuff will probably only be posted to Facebook, so if you wanna see ’em, be sure we’re FB friends.)

Oh my God. There’s got to be over a foot of snow out there.

Thank the next medical professional you see. Live frogs could be falling from the sky and they still have to go to work.

Better yet, buy’em a drink, they have stress. No, an energy drink, they’re always tired. Just don’t ask about their day. Because, uh, ew.

RT @don_rivers: http://plixi.com/p/74235540 snow in #alamogordo

RT @don_rivers: It is -19C (9 F) here and I think the pipe to the house must be frozen. No running water. Crap. Have 10 gal drinking water

@don_rivers That’s gotta suck. I guess at least we have that going for us, she got a shower and I was able to cook breakfast.

Wesley and I are sitting here sorting out the pics and vids from yesterday. Hope to have some on facebook in half hour or so.

What was I thinking not shooting any black and white??!!! grrrr

I don’t get it why facebook is now splitting my videos into 2min chunks – it never did that before.

Stuck a ruler in the snow on the table out back http://flic.kr/p/9f93VC

RT @don_rivers http://plixi.com/p/74261166 thawing water line? Wood/glass shelter, heating pad on ext cord, outdoor therm to measure results

I have a lot of housework to do today, so I think I’ll make siphon, use the last of these local beans so I can try the Guatamala Antigua :)

Aaaaand, my tweets aren’t making it to facebook again.

RT @don_rivers: http://plixi.com/p/74263598 about 10 in. #snow though the umbrella may have affected results. Forecast was 1-3" #alamogordo

Too bad we watched Frozen the other night – would have been a perfect slumber party choice this friday.

@RachelRT yeah, I am currently in a forced situation of no computer, so if my PS3 can’t do it, I can’t do it.

RT @WolfEloin: Snow fall was expected to be between 1 and 3 inches. Official report from the news this morn says 9 in. It’s still snowing.

Good looking siphon pot of coffee :) http://flic.kr/p/9faspm

Have I posted a pic of my vapo (e-cig) yet? http://flic.kr/p/9fbqAS

There is some meltage happening. The sun even momentarily peeks out from time to time.
